As a young mother seeking an administration position, Neda Aleksic found her lack of experience and qualifications challenging. Accepting the offer of a traineeship with BCA National allowed her to undertake a Certificate III in Business and gain a full time office administration role with her host employer.
Neda has thrown herself into a learning journey, undertaking several VET courses over the past three years.
She is now part of the Training Package Development team within the Industry Skills Advisory Council in the Northern Territory where she consults with industry and registered training organisations to ensure the development, review and implementation of training packages meet current industry needs.
Neda's continuous exposre to learning through various qualifications is testimony to the dedication she has for further development.
"I always strive for excellence, and as a mother of a young boy I try my best to instill the importance of education into him," Neda said.
"My will to never stop learning will stay with me forever and my supprt for the delivery of VET will continue to grow.
"I hope to continue my journey and be a strong advocate within the VET sector for years to come."
Neda is currently studying toward a Diploma of Project Management.
