All permanent employees are encouraged to undertake formal qualifications. Since 2010, more than 20 of the company’s arborists have completed a range of nationally recognised qualifications at Certificates II, III and IV levels, primarily Certificate III in Arboriculture.
Arafura Tree Services won the Small Employer of the Year Award at the 2014 Australian Training Awards. The award recognises a small enterprise which has achieved excellence in the provision of nationally recognised training to its employees.
