In 2024, Holly was recognised as TasNetworks’ most outstanding dual trade apprentice and overall apprentice of the year. Keen to elevate her career and build on her previous studies, Holly embarked on a line worker apprenticeship with her employer.
Having completed her Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead through TasNetworks, Holly couldn’t be happier. Her new electrical supply career is continually challenging her, stretching her capabilities and allowing her to make a difference in the communities where she works. It is also exemplifying her leadership skills and resilience.
Throughout her training journey, Holly developed key skills in emergency response, safety, and mentoring while contributing to the reliability of Tasmania’s electrical network.
Holly is a passionate ambassador for VET, and she has become a valued mentor for new female apprentices at TasNetworks. As a multi-skilled tradesperson, Holly is paving the way for women in Tasmania’s energy industry.
