Cameron’s leap of faith into the oil and gas industry reignited his passion for learning. He  completed a Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations as an apprentice, and later earned two bachelor degrees, a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice through Griffith University. 

Cameron recently completed a Diploma of Work Health and Safety through ASTRA Group Services. 

In his role as a health and safety advisor, Cameron is driving positive change in his workplace, especially in the area of psychosocial risk management. He provides mentoring support to his colleagues, particularly those undertaking vocational pathways and he leads psychosocial health initiatives to ensure the mental and physical wellbeing of all employees is prioritised. 

Cameron’s transition from hospitality to the oil and gas industry has paid off. Committed to professional growth, he is a strong advocate for vocational education and safety awareness.
