Akwal is creative, passionate, and community-driven. In 2024, Akwal completed a Certificate IV in Youth Work through RMIT University. During her training, she worked as a project support officer at Culture Spring, where she facilitated youth-led workshops, mentored young multicultural leaders, and designed creative programs that harnessed art for healing and community building.
Akwal is currently studying a Diploma of Youth Work and working as a project support officer at the Centre for Multicultural Youth. She has embraced her vocational pathway with purpose and drive, determined to deepen her skills and create a lasting impact in the lives of young people.
Akwal dreams of a better future, —one where young people can express themselves freely and advocate for positive change. She builds trust, fosters growth, and is empathetic and strategic. Thanks to her training, she can now create projects that uplift the voices of the marginalised young people she supports.
