Joanne Campbell is a proud Aboriginal woman born and raised in Guyra, completing a Certificate IV in Housing through CHIA NSW while employed by Homes North Community Housing. Her cadetship combines formal training with practical frontline experience in community housing. 
 
Motivated by her own experiences, including losing everything in a house fire, Joanne is passionate about supporting people facing housing insecurity. As a caseworker on the Tingha Pathways Project, she draws on lived experience, empathy and community connections to provide guidance and improve access to safe, affordable housing. Joanne is committed to building trust, showing respect and delivering compassionate, culturally safe support.   
 
Joanne credits her mentor, trainers and colleagues with helping her build confidence, communication, and leadership skills. Deeply connected to her Country, community,  family and kinship, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and supporting others to access the help they need. Through her resilience, compassion and service to community, Joanne is building a career that improves lives while inspiring future generations to pursue their own goals with confidence.
