Aya Pulle completed a Certificate III in Civil Construction through Civil Train SA while employed by Civil Apprenticeships and Careers Ltd and hosted by SADB. After starting her career in pharmacy, Aya pursued a new challenge in a hands-on trade, where she demonstrated her commitment and capability by completing her apprenticeship ahead of schedule.

Throughout her apprenticeship, Aya developed expertise across excavation, pipeline and utility works, plant operations and complex site environments. She further strengthened her capabilities through specialised training and earned an unrestricted HR licence on her first attempt.

Recognised for her initiative, professionalism and willingness to take on new challenges, Aya has been offered a future leadership pathway with SADB. She also serves on the Civil Contractors Federation's Women in Civil committee and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Nepal in October 2026, reflecting her commitment to supporting both her industry and the broader community.

Combining technical expertise with a commitment to service, Aya is helping create stronger pathways and opportunities for others.
