Inspired by her tradie customers, Amber took a leap of faith into a fabrication apprenticeship with AGL. It completely changed her life.

Since completing her Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade through TAFE Gippsland, Amber has mastered advanced welding techniques, mentored new apprentices, and stepped into leadership roles. She also won a WorldSkills regional competition with the highest welding score in Victoria. Her self-belief and resilience have skyrocketed.

Working closely with TAFE Gippsland, Amber has become an advocate for women in trades. Her apprenticeship has given her more than just skills, it has given her purpose and direction. With her sights now set on new energy, Amber wants to make a lasting impact in her industry and her community.
