Annie-Maree Martin is a student at Ulladulla High School, completing a Certificate III in Agriculture with Australian Training Company, her employer and registered training organisation. Through her work with her host employer, Tinker Valley Farm, she is turning her lifelong love for agriculture into practical skills, industry experience and a pathway to the future.
Eager to broaden her horizons, Annie-Maree looked beyond her local area when opportunities were limited, securing work on remote stations in the Northern Territory. There, Annie-Marie gained hands-on experience in cattle mustering and large-scale farming, strengthening her confidence, resilience and understanding of life on the land.
That same drive continues to shape her contributions beyond the farm gate. As School Captain, Annie-Maree mentors fellow students and helped rebuild her school's Steer Spectacular program. She also co-created the Milton Show Society Junior Committee and contributes to community events and fundraising initiatives.
As she continues to grow her skills and experience, Annie-Maree hopes to build a career in agricultural leadership, helping cultivate opportunities for others and contributing to the strength and sustainability of rural communities.
