The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC) is a registered training organisation that offers a range of health and social care qualifications, including the Diploma of Nursing, Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance, and Certificates III and IV in Sterilisation Services.
Recognising the many challenges faced by its diverse student cohort and the broader health and aged care sector, ANMEC is exploring alternative training delivery models and developing products and services that are responsive to local and emerging needs.
ANMEC is owned and operated by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch), and most of its practical education and training programs are delivered at a purpose-built facility in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
With a deep understanding of the clinical and interpersonal skills required in real-world care settings, ANMEC’s educators are preparing highly-skilled workers for South Australia’s evolving health and social care industry.
