Bethany’s passion for mechanics began in her hometown, where her mechanically minded family sparked her early interest in cars and equipment. This childhood passion led her into the engineering trades, where she completed a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade through the Adelaide Training and Employment Centre (ATEC) at Engie Australia.
As a qualified mechanical fitter and groundbreaking female tradesperson, Bethany is a keen advocate for wellbeing and inclusion in the workplace. She emerged from her apprenticeship as a stronger, more confident person who contributes to positive change in workplace dynamics.
Bethany’s apprenticeship pathway made her more resilient, and she encourages other budding apprentices to complete their training. Bethany is committed to sharing her story to inspire future apprentices, especially women who are considering a career in the trades.
