With a life-long passion for hairdressing, Chelsea decided to kickstart her hairdressing career with a school-based apprenticeship. Supported by St Patrick's College Mackay, Chelsea enrolled in a Certificate III in Hairdressing at CQUniversity Australia and is loving working in the industry at Intuition – The Art of Hair.

Having completed a Certificate II in Salon Assistant in Year 10 along with work experience at different salons, Chelsea was excited to start her school-based apprenticeship in Year 11. Such is her passion for the hair and beauty industry, she dedicated the last three years of her senior schooling towards preparing for a career in hairdressing.

Chelsea appreciates the training opportunity offered by her employer and school. She also appreciates the support from her colleagues, clients and trainers, as it has allowed her to gain the skills, confidence and experience she needed to embark on a career she is passionate about.
