With 30 years’ experience in hospitality and over 20 years’ experience in the delivery and management of VET initiatives, Dee is a subject expert in hospitality, business, tourism, aviation and first-aid. She has been employed as the business development and training manager at Complete Hospitality Training Skills for the past seven years.

Dee began her hospitality journey as a flight attendant – straight out of school. With waitressing and kitchen-hand roles behind her, Dee’s confidence grew. Thanks to the belief and support of her mentors, she excelled in the industry.

One of Dee’s standout VET initiatives has been the ‘Beginarista’ – a purpose-built coffee trailer for portable barista training in schools. Her drive and motivation to train SA’s future hospitality workforce knows no bounds.

Like her mentors before her, Dee aims to be a role model and leader in the VET sector, championing young people and providing them with meaningful learning outcomes.
