Georgie has been a dedicated Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) practitioner since 1987. After 20 years of teaching, Georgie moved into support and leadership roles, but she always kept one foot in the classroom. Her strategic and hands-on leadership approach combines a deep understanding of best practice, a mindset of continuous improvement, and commitment to quality in the LLN teaching and learning space.
As Teaching and Learning Curriculum Lead at Navitas Skilled Futures, Georgie leads a multi-disciplinary team responsible for LLN teacher professional development, quality assurance, digital innovation, and learning design and resource development to support accredited and non-accredited courses and training package delivery. Georgie is also the co-vice president of the NSW Adult Literacy and Numeracy Council.
Georgie’s combination of vision, rigour, empathy, and innovation makes her a leader in the sector, whose impact extends beyond her own organisation. With ongoing contributions to setting benchmarks for excellence in curriculum design, resource development, and inclusive educational practice, Georgie is committed to delivering excellence in LLN.
