Driven by her desire to build a secure and independent future, Jade knew a process operator qualification would provide the long-term career she was searching for. Securing a place in the competitive Certificate III in Process Plant Operations traineeship marked a significant milestone, one she considers among her greatest achievements.
Jade completed her traineeship through TAFE International WA (RTO) and Programmed Skilled Workforce (GTO) while being hosted full-time by INPEX Australia at the Ichthys LNG onshore process facilities near Darwin. She has since progressed into a full-time role as a qualified process operator at INPEX Australia’s storage and loading area.
Jade’s journey has been one of growth and confidence. Working in a male-dominated industry has presented challenges, it has also offered rewarding opportunities. Jade is passionate about encouraging other women to pursue careers in the energy sector and is proud to be shaping a secure and purposeful future.
