Jade McGowan didn’t just step into the energy industry, she charged in with purpose. Starting with a Certificate III in Boilermaking, she proved early on that she could thrive in tough, hands-on environments. That milestone wasn’t just a qualification, it was a statement of resilience and readiness.
Her impact in the construction industry didn’t go unnoticed, Jade was named a finalist in the Master Builders Women in Construction category, a recognition that celebrated her leadership, skill, and dedication in a traditionally male-dominated field.
Building on that momentum, Jade made a bold move to transition into the resources sector. She completed a Certificate III in Process Plant Operations traineeship through TAFE International WA and Programmed Skilled Workforce, hosted by INPEX Australia. Working at the Ichthys LNG onshore facilities, Jade faced real-world challenges head-on, showing grit, focus, and a hunger to learn.
Now a full-time process operator in INPEX’s storage and loading area, Jade is living proof that growth doesn’t follow a timeline, it follows determination. Every obstacle she’s faced has become fuel for her progress.
