As a passionate and driven young professional, Jiwon’s traineeship journey showcases the power of determination and opportunity.
Starting her journey as a school-based apprentice, Jiwon completed a Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways before transitioning into a full-time traineeship with the ACT Education Directorate. Jiwon completed her Certificate III in Business traineeship through the Australian College of Commerce & Management, and she continues to work for the Directorate.
Recognised for her initiative and leadership, Jiwon plays a key role in delivering career education programs and coordinating events that connect young people with real-world experiences. In a delightful twist of fate, she also administers ASbA initiatives coming full circle from her own ASbA beginnings.
Jiwon’s lived experience makes her a relatable and inspiring advocate for VET. She is currently studying a Diploma of Business, and she promotes the value of VET at every opportunity.
