Aiming to make high-risk industries safer, On the Job Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) located in Staplyton that specialises in high-risk work licenses and civil plant machinery training.

Its student-centred approach includes small student-to-trainer ratios and e-learning initiatives, and its flexible schedule includes night courses for workers on shift and FIFO rosters.

Its fleet of high-risk machinery maximises ‘real life’ learning, and its virtual reality simulator for crane operations reflects their commitment to invest in new technologies.

The RTO has expanded its facilities to support up to 80 students and its crane cadet program has been designed to bridge the gap between formal education and practical experience.

On the Job Training delivers qualifications and standalone units from a small number of national training packages, and recorded strong growth since becoming an RTO in 2021.
