Kaydence is a Year 12 student at St Mary MacKillop College. In preparation for her journey beyond school, she commenced a school-based traineeship in community pharmacy, a key step towards a rewarding pharmaceutical career.
Enrolled in a Certificate II in Community Pharmacy through the Pharmacy Guild of Australia (RTO), Kaydence worked part-time as a pharmacy assistant with Life Pharmacy Group.
Kaydence’s traineeship pathway enhanced her understanding of pharmacy operations, legislation, and patient care, and she hopes to focus on medicine and patient care in future years.
She developed strong communication and leadership skills as a pharmacy assistant, and she is fascinated by how medications interact with the human body and contribute to improving health outcomes.
Kaydence valued the opportunity to work alongside dedicated pharmacists and pharmacy assistants as she pursued her aspirations. She is also passionate about vocational education and values the role it plays in building confident, capable professionals.
