Marta Strykhotska is undertaking a Diploma of Project Management through Chisholm Institute while working as a Senior Traffic Administrator with Laing O’Rourke on the Eastern Freeway Upgrades.
After fleeing the war in Ukraine with her twin daughters, Marta arrived in Australia with limited English and no experience of Australian workplaces. She completed an English course, joined the CareerSeekers program and secured her first role in construction administration. Marta completed a Certificate IV in Business traineeship, strengthening her communication, leadership and operational skills, and earned a promotion in 2025. Marta now supports engineers, coordinates traffic management and is helping implement a Traffic Booking System designed to improve safety and efficiency.
