Michael is a passionate and inspiring hospitality teacher at Dapto High School. He is a qualified chef, and has been teaching hospitality VET courses at Dapto High School since 2015. Michael’s readiness to prioritise real-world learning has seen him described as a beacon of positivity and encouragement by his colleagues.
Grounding his teaching style in practical application, Michael has managed to ignite his students’ passion for the hospitality sector through his boundless energy, expertise and compassionate spirit. His success as a hospitality teacher stems from his comprehensive background in the industry. He worked in fine-dining restaurants, cafés and hotels for 10 years before gaining a Bachelor of Education (Technology and Applied Studies) at Charles Sturt University.
Michael has been a chief judge and team leader at WorldSkills events, and he has established a student-operated cafe at Dapto High School. He is dedicated to empowering budding hospitality stars in his charge.
