Nadine is a passionate nursing teacher at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT). She is a registered nurse with almost 25 years’ experience and has been teaching CIT’s Diploma of Nursing program since 2018. With a commitment to high-quality patient care, Nadine wants to help shape the next generation of nurses.

Nadine’s innovative teaching approach is based on practical settings, where she allows students to build self-confidence and enhance their competence as they integrate into the nursing profession.

“My genuine passion for being a VET teacher creates an inclusive, engaging environment where I strive to blend theoretical concepts with real-world examples, enriching student learning,” Nadine says.

Nadine is committed to excellence in program delivery and student support. She goes above and beyond to build student confidence, and she is an active mentor for less experienced staff.

Nadine received the CIT Student Association Teacher of the Year Award in 2020, 2023 and 2024.
