The North Central Trade Training Centre is a collaborative vocational education facility located at Charlton College in north-central Victoria.
Established in 2011, the Centre was built on a simple but powerful conviction; that geographical remoteness should never limit a young person’s access to quality vocational education and training.
Serving a cluster of 10 government schools, the Centre provides nationally recognised and industry-relevant programs to one of regional Victoria’s most dispersed school networks.
Students can access a diverse suite of certificates and VET offerings, all of which are directly aligned with local employment demand and regional skill shortages.
A partnership with the North Central Local Learning and Employment Network allows students to travel to the Centre via bus—ensuring cost and distance never become barriers to participation.
Through strong governance, collaborative partnerships and extraordinary inter-school timetabling, the Centre is keeping skills, ambition and young people in the heart of north-central Victoria.
