Having left school after a disrupted education, Stephanie was lost and unsure of her purpose. Her decision to study youth work changed everything. Inspired by her own lived experience and the challenges many young people face, she was driven to become the kind of person she once needed, someone who listens, encourages, and creates space for others.
Stephanie’s vocational journey has been fruitful. She has completed three qualifications in four years: a Certificate IV in Youth Work, a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention, and most recently, a Certificate IV in Mental Health.
As a dedicated frontline support worker, Stephanie works with vulnerable individuals and families. Her training has enabled her to confidently step into roles where she can make a difference, using trauma-informed and person-centred practices.
