After an early challenge reshaped his working life, Steve wanted to reimagine what’s possible through training, so he built a training organisation with a difference. At SCALA, Steve takes a brain-first, textbook-second approach to training, and he empowers learners from entry-level staff through to chief executive officers.
Steve designs and delivers career pathways in retail, business, leadership and management (Certificate III to Diploma), and he coaches every trainer that joins the SCALA team. He strongly believes education should feel like a possibility, not a pressure.
Steve is committed to vocational teaching and learning. He empowers learners to grow in skills and self-worth, and he encourages them to use the transformation they achieve through training for state-wide impact, to ensure Tasmania becomes the most capable island in the world.
