Sue is a leader in adult literacy and numeracy. She is a language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy specialist at TAFE SA, and has been designing and delivering adult literacy and numeracy programs for more than 29 years. She is the current secretary of the Australian Council for Adult Literacy, a position she has held since 2019.

Sue has coordinated workplace language and literacy initiatives for a diverse range of learners across a wide range of industries. She is a generous and compassionate adult literacy and numeracy educator, and this is exemplified by her numerous voluntary roles on the South Australian Council for Adult Literacy Executive Committee for the past 16 years. Her passion and resolve to help adult learners improve their literacy and numeracy levels is palpable.
