TAFE Queensland has over 100,000 enrolled students and offers industry-relevant training with over 450 qualifications in its scope of registration. Operating for over 140 years and with more than 60 locations across the state, the organisation is committed to exceeding expectations.
TAFE Queensland regularly reviews and improves its performance and supports educators to access a range of training in industry and teaching. Building on recent research into student expectations, a self-reflection tool for educators has been introduced to help them identify and address areas for improvement.
TAFE Queensland continues to build partnerships in emerging industries, including hydrogen and advanced composites manufacturing, to deliver the best and most relevant training possible. The organisation has collaborated with the University of the Sunshine Coast and Sunshine Coast Manufacturing Excellence Forum to offer a dual award to expand the experience of university and vocational students. TAFE Queensland recently launched its Course Gateway platform, enabling commercial clients and single users to enrol in micro-credentials. They also launched the Australian Virtual Business College, an online delivery model for business qualifications through virtual classrooms and interactive content.
