His Australian School-based Apprenticeship has confirmed his desire to pursue a career in medicine which he hopes to begin next year.

An outstanding student in both mathematics and English subjects, Daniel was awarded the St Columban’s College 2014 Highest Academic Achievement Award for Mathematics and the same year won an ABC Radio competition for writing a short story on his sometimes confronting experiences in healthcare.
