Certificate II in Automotive and Servicing Technology

The ability to complete Year 12 and get hands-on experience made a school-based traineeship an attractive option for Benjamin Rowe. Due to his farming background and curiosity for how things work, agricultural mechanics seemed to be a natural fit. Benjamin’s confidence, enthusiasm and passion were praised by judges and have been evident throughout his traineeship. Mature beyond his years, he even negotiated more opportunities and responsibilities at his workplace. Benjamin says his school-based traineeship allowed him to network within his chosen field and learn from the knowledge and experience of others, while also gaining useful insights into industry needs and demands. A proud member of the farming community in Western Australia’s mid-west, Benjamin hopes to be an innovator and leader of change in the agriculture industry.
