When Beth felt the need for a new challenge, the former hairdresser retrained to move into the corporate world.

She secured a business traineeship at Western Power and achieved her Certificate III in Business while working full-time.

Choosing to return to study has been the best professional decision Beth has made, and she has enjoyed the challenge of moving from a trade into the corporate space.

Beth dedicates time to activities that benefit organisational culture, including her involvement in Western Power’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Committee, coordinating charity events and re-designing team communication tools.

She is currently working toward completing a Certificate IV in Business, and credits her traineeship with providing the key foundations to a new and exciting career.
