Darek has a strong passion for animal welfare, behaviour and conservation. His passion, experience and expertiseare an asset not only his students, but has helped him develop new training opportunities for TAFE NSW and as a result increased enrolments.
He has had over 25 years of experience with the animal industry and has proven experience in developing, delivering and maintaining a range of courses throughout his teaching career.
Darek has experience across the broad scope of the animal industry – from captive, companion, and the conservation areas which also opens many opportunities for his students. Either through industry connections facilitating study tours, workplace opportunities, or innovative teaching practices.
