Megan Feaver

2018
Finalist
Western Australia

Certiicate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

Megan had an interest in electronics, so after years of searching for the right career, she decided to undertake a pre-apprenticeship in the electrical trade.

Megan has excelled in her field, securing a coveted Western Power apprenticeship and winning its Apprentice of the Year Award.

Megan has discovered a joy for solving mathematical equations and successfully completed the Capstone assessment. She goes out of her way to assist other apprentices and trainees in her workplace, creating training documents to help others prepare for their exams.

Megan aspires to lead and encourage women into trades, believing that undertaking a trade is not based on gender, but on a way of thinking. She is already actively involved with the Women in Male Dominated Occupations and Industries network to achieve this goal.
