Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
In 2016, the Institute of Project Management was approached by the Nayri Niara Centre for the Arts of Healing to explore the opportunities that could support project management education and training of volunteers involved with delivering discrete projects within their Nayri Niara Good Spirit Festival. Michelle Maynard was selected to participate in the Nayri Niara Good Spirit Festival intern program and completed the Certificate IV in Project Management Practice in May 2017. The program assisted the upskilling of the festival’s volunteer core crew. Michelle stays abreast of issues in the community where her particular interests lie around sustainable earth use and emerging practices; indigenous health; trauma and healing practices; social justice issues; indigenous incarceration and community connection and belonging.
