Certificate III in Individual Support

With a strong desire to help people, Phoenix Crowther chose to enrol in her Certificate III in Individual Support. During her Australian School-based Apprenticeship (ASbA) Phoenix had the opportunity to support children with a range of disabilities at Namadgi School in Canberra’s south.

Phoenix has helped take children on many excursions including a two day trip to the South Coast where students undertook activities such as bush walking and kayaking. While active in a number of sports, including several roles in netball for nine years, Phoenix has chosen to focus more on her studies and her future in the disability sector.

Phoenix is passionate about ASbA pathways and feels privileged to have been given so many opportunities at a young age. After finishing Year 12, Phoenix hopes to secure a full-time role in the disability sector, and hopes to help change the world one person at a time.
