35-year-old Sharine Milne spent 10 years in a different industry before completing an Australian Apprenticeship to become a motorcycle mechanic.
Now, after completing a Diploma of Business, she owns the company where she trained.
Sharine was the winner of the 2012 Queensland Trainee of the Year Award and was a finalist the same year at the Australian Training Awards.
